Vacancy: Sales Account Manager - Africa Region
Location: Southern Africa, with an office based in Johannesburg
Department: Sales
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Trance Telecom VoIP wholesale plus VoIP products
- Account representation in African markets, working with relevant departments.
- Manage new accounts, existing clients, working with new opportunities and cold calls, to ensure new client base and maximum revenue
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations that address the Distributor’s needs and potentials, especially with Operators/Telecom markets.
- Gather, organize, and analyze information on targeted high dollar Distributor opportunities.
- Working with Project manager on all accounts.
- Forecast revenue with personal annual targets.
Experience and Education:
- Experience in hard cold calling sales environment, dealing with telecommunications, software, hardware, technology, or wireless
- Minimum of three to five years of sales experience.
- Knowledge of VoIP telecom services and proven account identification techniques are required.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel are required.
- Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, coaching, and team building skills are required.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Working under pressure in a small team, overseeing large client base in vast area, passing technical side to project manager.
- Male or female between 25 and 40 years of age.
Salary: Basic plus unlimited OTE commission. Benefits include cellphone allowance, annual bonuses based on performance.
